Which way next?

COVID-19 is throwing up lot’s of challenges.

It’s not easy to decide which direction to take during such uncertain times.

Keeping healthy and behaving responsibly to stay virus free is now an ingrained routine with me.

If I look after myself then I can look after my family.

That’s never going to change.

Running has always been a big part of my life

I like the fact that I can take part in virtual events that I can complete solo.

The athletic landscape is adapting.

I have no idea when I will actually coach again as, the vulnerable people I like to help, are quite rightly shielding to feel safe.

I’ve reached a cross road.

I’m happy to do my own thing

I quite like the idea of becoming a Forest Gump and just enjoying mindfully trotting around my local area.

I’ve got great wide smooth paths, muddy woody trails, oodles of cross country tracks.

So much to explore to keep me fit and happy.

That’ll do for now.

Leave nothing but footprints

My next virtual challenge starts on 1 October 2020.

I’ve signed up with runr to do 200 miles to support Mind.

I’m looking forward to it.
