Running fast is fun

This morning I headed out into the Basingstoke drizzle with no idea of what I wanted to do.

As I trotted around I remembered that with Chineham Park Running Club we use Air Products Hill in Chineham Business Park to do hill repeat sessions.

So as I was approaching this section of road I decided to have a go at doing my own type of hybrid run.

Up fast, walk down, repeat.

I have to say I really enjoyed it, hence this blog post title.

I’d forgotten just how much you can enjoy blasting along like a kid driving your arms as fast as you can to reach an imaginary finish line.

I think I will do this sort of thing more often as it actually fits in with my mindful philosophy of doing what feels good.

My blog about random things that interest me. When I'm not running computer programs to make things happen, I'm out and and about running around my local neighborhood mindfully getting muddy.
